C-Click was formed to commercialize and establish its patented CBD-to-THC conversion process in industrial settings and personal use devices.

C-Click’s core technology is thoroughly protected in US Patent #11,098,024 (and related international filings), which affords the production of isomers of THC from CBD. This patented technology is supplemented by other related proprietary intellectual property, expertise in cannabinoid chemistry, along with extensive experience and track record in drug formulation and dosing and drug delivery devices.

The C-click conversion process incorporates numerous platforms of tailorable acidicly enriched solid support catalyst chemistry. It is ideal for converting CBD to THC at scale, in a cost-efficient cGMP-certified facility using food-grade solid support catalysts in the melt. As such, the THC that is produced is free from heavy metals and toxic solvents residuals, and is tunable for potency, cannabinoid ratios, which produces only minimal and well-characterized side products.

C-Click’s industrial device and process is capable of converting CBD to THC in greater volumes and at significantly lower cost per kg than manufacturers that rely on the solution chemistry-based SOTA, where SOTA of processes produce messy final products tainted with heavy metals and residual toxic solvents.

C-Click’s patented technology broadly covers all acidicly enriched support particles, in vessels ranging in size from industrial reactors to the cartridge of a personal use device, e.g., vape pen, inhaler, or atomizer.

Given the dynamic legal and regulatory environment in which the cannabis industry operates, C-Click will continue to focus on development of the conversion reaction in industrial settings, and in a personal use device under increased regulatory scrutiny; and beyond the capability of all current market participants.

REVENUE MODELS

In industrial settings, C-Click and our manufacturing partner will offer conversion-as-a-service to customers that incorporate THC into devices, food, and beverages. Under the CaaS model, C-Click will own the equipment, and the partner will convert CBD to THC. C-Click will receive a portion of the manufacturing toll paid by the customer on a per kg basis.

C-Click will also directly license to manufacturers, with the partner involved in setting up the manufacturing line and supplying catalyst.

C-Click has entered a co-venture to develop the conversion reaction in personal use devices.

C-Click’s granted patent claims are well in alignment with the published application, affording a unique opportunity to assert provisional patent protection rights from the date of publication.
